Technically speaking, i34 is the 29th or so iteration of the British based, British ran LAN series. The initial 4 were branded under a different name leaving i5 as the first ‘I-series’ event. Anyone who is anyone in online communities will understand how the I-series has not only dictated the future of all British LAN trends, but has created an environment where world renowned teams can fight for superiority in offline arenas.

With the I-series being on the bleeding edge of British LAN events, 4Kings makes a special effort to attend the event with intent to frag, cap, destroy, cover and tac-nade the heck out of. With all that in mind, Four-Kings.com intends to bring you the most varied qualitative data that our fingers will allow to post regarding all manner of goings on at the LAN.

First off, i34 is being held at a new event, in a new area code. Previously to i34, the I-series has been held at Newbury racecourse in 2 separate building. The 2 buildings hosting multiple rooms, buildings and general areas were the main detrimental feature of the event. So as the I-series has evolved, developed and innovated itself, so has the host of the event. Coventry city holds Stoneleigh Park, which will warmly be our home over this coming weekend. Stoneleigh Park will amass 2,000 gamers in one large f-bombing 4,500 M² hall and accommodate our needs with a sizable food court, an onsite 3star hotel, hostel and outdoor activities such as 4x4 trails, paintballing and airsoft arena.

4Kings will also have our very own exhibition booth, which will house 10 computers that will be used for their tournament play by the 4Kings players. Attendees can come spectate the players on the mounted plasma screens and are free to of course drop in and say hello!

High stakes tournaments will be in full flow during the event providing the main incentives for 4Kings to show our presence. Of the numerous tournaments being hosted, 4Kings will be participating in the CS 1.6 tournament in order to qualify for an all expenses paid trip to the 2008 World Cyber Games!
