The race to the six first ranks on the European, Asian and North American ladders from Battle.net finally concluded and the names from the players that will follow the six invited players to the LAN Finals, where eight players (three from Europe, three from Asia and two from America) will have the chance to qualify for the World Finals, later this year at the BlizzCon in Anaheim.

The details about all the qualifiers and the grand finals are known, and here they are, the two invited players for each qualifiers are the title holders from last year.

Asian qualifier - To be played August 16-17th in Seoul, Korea

As always, the Asian (or let's say, Korean), qualifier, is the most impressive with the quality of the contenders to the few places for the World Finals.

We can't really give you a favourite here, it all depends on the bracket and the match system, as well as the maps played at the important moment, but I think that Moon, Lyn and WhO in their actual shape are the ones that got the most chances to qualify.

But no one is to underestimate here, as almost all of these players already managed to win a big title in Korea or outside it.

The European qualifier brings us some surprises, the biggest one is most probably that Blizzard decided to invite the former 4K's player Creolophus despite him being inactive since a long time.

It's still not clear if he's accepted the invitation and if he doesn't, he might be replaced by the young German undead star from Team ALTERNATE, XlorD.

Then, we've got four great European players who aren't to present anymore ; ToD, Grubby, SaSe and Happy, who's got the most chances to qualify for the World Finals in my opinion.

Finally, the three underdogs, LucifroN, LiiLD.C and KnOfF will try to upset them and take their shot to top one of the qualifying rank.

North American qualifier - To be played September 6-7th in Boston, USA

Here, we have one inactive player as well that Blizzard invited, namely former mTw player Nilknarf, It's not known whether he will come or he will get replaced by the next player in the Ladder.

On the other hand, this qualifier seems way more opened than the European one, as almost all the players are capable to beat each others in my opinion, and a lot of American players are back to the NGL-One or WC3L which makes their practice easier and more consistent.
