A Korean Touch: Interview with Fnatic|Garfield

European powerhouse, Fnatic, recently signed an agreement with Hui-Chul "Garfield" Jung that would see him working as the organizations general manager in Korea. Jung is a former employee of SK, NiP and more recently Lunatic-Hai where he played various roles in management. However, with his signing to Fnatic, he is about to undertake his biggest job and we knew little about him until now.

Spart1e: I'm really hungry for revenge

Great weather, great history and great computer gaming – that’s what the ESWC Masters of Athens tournament had to offer for its competitors. Twenty-two years old Sebastian "Spart1e" Siira attended the event with the aim of simply beating Russia’s Cooller again. However, once he got into the motion of things he soon surpassed his own expectations and those of the community.

In a thrilling afternoon of competition, Siira became the first person to force Alexei 'Cypher' Yanyshevskyof a tournament in 2008. He then continued his form in the final against SK Gaming’s Shane “Rapha” Hendrixson but was narrowly defeated in over a three map game. All in all, Siira is becoming a rising star in Quake 3, but where did he come from?

The Gods of Quake III

From the 2003's edition, in Poitiers, France to the 2008's Masters edition in Paris, California, there are six players, including four as a team, that have actually touched the Golden medal of the Quake III Electronic Sports World Cup. Three of them were still present for the 2008's Finals, just two weeks ago in San Jose.
